His biggest success came with the The Incredible Hulk which included a movie, an internationally-successful TV series, and three followup TV movies. He starred in the movies Ride Beyond Vengeance, Doctor You’ve Got to be Kidding, Speedway, Clambake, and The Apple Dumpling Gang and also in the TV series Courtship of Eddie’s Father, The Magician, and the miniseries Rich Man, Poor Man. After My Favorite Martian he made guest appearances in many TV series including The Streets of San Francisco for which he was nominated for an “Outstanding Lead Actor” Emmy Award.
This led to many awkward situations, which formed the backbone of the show’s episodes. Tim O’Hara, newspaper reporter, rescued a martian from his crashed spaceship and pretended to the world that it was his “Uncle Martin”. My Favorite Martian was a sitcom that ran from 1963 to 1966.
